Invite an organization or business in your community to send a letter of support to their Member of Congress.

  • Download this letter to your computer.
  • Add your organization’s letterhead and language that is specific to your organization’s city, town or village.
  • Personalize the information listed in bold.
  • E-mail letter directly to your Senator or Member of Congress’ Chief of Staff.

Coalition Partner Letters

On May 20, 2020, more than 170 businesses and community organizations called on Congressional leaders to provide direct federal aid to America’s cities, towns, and villages.

On September 30, 2020, COVID RELIEF NOW, a new coalition of nearly 200 major public and private sector groups across the U.S. – including the National League of Cities – called for “No Recess without Relief” imploring Congress to not leave town for the 2020 elections without passing additional COVID economic relief – stating millions of jobs and survival of small businesses as well as vital government services are on the line.
